The Capacity Report is a preliminary document to the Service Level Report:

  • For all IT Services
    • Details of Service capacities
      • Agreed capacities
      • Measured capacity usage
    • Details of performance
      • Agreed performance
      • Measured performance
    • Trend analyses
      • Expected increase/ decrease in the demand for Service capacities
      • Threshold values, whose attainment trigger the start of measures for the expansion of Service capacities
  • Incidents leading to reduced Service capacities or performance
    • In the past (prolonged Service failures etc.)
      • Type of the incident
      • Causes
      • Counter-measures for the elimination of the failure
      • Measures for the future avoidance of similar failures
    • In the future (i.e. planned prolonged downtimes to Services)
  • Analysis of the effects upon IT capacities by
    • Changes/ additions/ cancellations of IT Services
    • Forthcoming Changes
    • New technologies
    • External changes, e.g. of a judicial type
  • Running and planned measures for the increase of Service capacities or performance
